Reading Notes Mahabharata PDE B
Starting off in reading B we notice as the Pandavas and Queen Kunti reach the palace that Prince Vidura notices that everything is cover in oil and can easily be burned, so fearing that they are going to be burned alive and set a plan to get them out alive by digging a passage to escape from the nearly certain death. Prince Bhima stayed behind so that he could have a chance to exact revenge on the captain who seeked to kill them. Staying behind he waited until the captain and his men entered the house and then set it on fire to kill them like he had planned to do. After escaping out of the passage they proceeded to disappear into the forest which was inhabited by many fearful creatures such as asuras and rakshasas. They found a place by a tree to stay and rest for the night, while they all slept Bhima stayed awake to guard and protect them.
